Beijing University of Technology, referred to as "Beijing University of Technology" for short, is a national key university integrating science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law and art directly under the Beijing Municipal People's Government of China. It is a national key construction institution of "2 1 1 Project" and was selected as "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" and "65438".
Founded in 1960, Beijing University of Technology has five departments: machinery, motor, radio, chemical engineering and mathematics. After many mergers and acquisitions, it has gradually formed a multidisciplinary system combining science, engineering, management and grammar. The school became the first master's degree awarding unit in 198 1 and the doctoral degree awarding unit in 1985.
As of May 20 18, the school covers an area of 935,400 square meters with a building area of 990,600 square meters. There are 32 secondary teaching and research institutions in the school, including 3 national key disciplines, 3 interdisciplinary key construction disciplines in Beijing and 39 key disciplines in Beijing.
