(There is no national special plan in Jiangsu).

Individual enrollment of rural students (special program for colleges and universities) shall be undertaken by universities directly under the Ministry of Education and other pilot universities for independent enrollment, mainly for recruiting outstanding rural students in remote areas, poverty-stricken areas and ethnic minority areas below the county level. The specific implementation area shall be determined by the relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).
