Our college has a teaching and research team with reasonable structure, complete categories and comprehensive strength, headed by Professor Pan Jiluan, an academician of China Academy of Sciences and a member of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. The hospital has more than staff 1 10, including 25 professors, 32 associate professors, 6 senior engineers, doctoral supervisors 1 1 person, 33 master supervisors, and national talents (first and second class) 1 person in the new century. The college has outstanding academic advantages, including Jiangxi Manufacturing Information Engineering Research Center and Jiangxi Key Laboratory of Robotics and Welding Automation. Materials processing engineering and mechatronics engineering are listed as key disciplines in Jiangxi province, and manufacturing information, a key discipline in the second phase of national "2 1 1", is also affiliated to the college. The college has the advantage of running a high level, with 6 master's degree authorization points, 2 doctoral degree authorization points and 1 postdoctoral mobile station. The college has made outstanding achievements in scientific research. Personal profile: Zhang Hua, born in 1964, is a doctor of welding in party member and Tsinghua University, and enjoys special allowance from the State Council. He is currently a professor, supervisor and dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Nanchang University. Member of International Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), director of China Welding Society, and deputy director of robotics and automation professional committee.

Zhang Hua was named "Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Jiangxi Province", "Advanced Worker in Jiangxi Province" and "National Model Teacher". In 2004, it was included in the first batch of "100 million talents project in the new century", won the special allowance of the State Council in 2005, and won the ninth China Youth Science and Technology Award in 2006.
