What are the music majors in the graduate school of Southwest University?
The Conservatory of Music of Southwest University has four undergraduate majors, namely, Music Education Department, Music Performance Department and Dance Department, and five teaching and research sections, namely, vocal music, piano, theory, instrumental music and dance. At the same time, it enrolls doctoral students in four directions: music psychology, China ancient music (education) history, religious music theory research, national music teaching and research, and master students in six directions: music aesthetic psychology, China traditional music, music history and literature, composition technology theory, music education theory and teaching, and music performance theory and practice.

The college now has five artistic practice platforms: Chongqing Youth Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, National Music Choir, Folk Music Orchestra and Dance Troupe. Since 2005, the College Symphony Orchestra and Folk Orchestra have been performing "Elegant Art Entering Campus" by the Ministry of Education for many years, and have been awarded "National Demonstration Base of Patriotism Classic Art Education in Colleges and Universities", "National Characteristic Specialty of Music Performance" and "Chongqing Key (First-class) Discipline of Music and Dance" successively.
