The Medical College of Xiamen University is the second-level teaching unit of Xiamen University. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the Medical College of Xiamen University was announced on June 1 996+1October1.

As of September 20 18, the college has 64 teaching and research institutions, including the Department of Basic Medicine, the Department of Clinical Medicine, the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Department of Nursing, the Department of Stomatology, the Institute of Ophthalmology, the Institute of Organ Transplantation, the Institute of Digestive Diseases, the Institute of Ophthalmology, the Institute of Neuroscience and the Anti-cancer Research Center.
