Study on Inclusion of Natural Drugs Natural drugs are often targeted at multiple groups of mixtures, and the physical and chemical properties and molecular structure of the components of the mixed objects are quite different, which is a direct factor affecting the inclusion effect. Only when the physical and chemical properties, molecular size and shape of the object are suitable for the space provided by the host, the inclusion effect will be better. In this regard, domestic researchers have also made active explorations.

For example, Hu Shilian of Anhui Provincial Hospital studied the β-CD inclusion process of volatile oil from Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride and Radix Aucklandiae by orthogonal test. By investigating the utilization rate of volatile oil, the yield of inclusion compound and the oil content, the best inclusion conditions were optimized: the ratio of subject to object was 6: 1, the inclusion temperature was 55℃ and the inclusion time was 3h.

The history of Beijing Navy General Hospital used water-in-water method and grinding method to prepare β-CD inclusion compound of drainage bear bile, which effectively reduced the bitterness of bear bile. The optimum technological conditions are as follows: the ratio of subject to object is 5: 1, and the grinding time is 20min minutes. The average yield of five batches of inclusion compounds was 97.6%, and the average content of ursodeoxycholic acid was 2.42%(RSD=0.83%). Houttuynia cordata Thunb has poor solubility in water, is unstable and has a strong fishy smell.

In order to improve this bad property, Wei et al. of Tongji Medical University in Wuhan respectively weighed houttuynia cordata Thunb and β- CD by grinding method, put β-CD in a mortar according to the molar ratio of 1: 1 (about the mass ratio of 1: 4), add appropriate amount of water to grind it into a uniform paste, add houttuynia cordata Thunb, fully grind it evenly, and filter it. The results showed that the solubility of Houttuynia cordata Thunb increased by 1 1.4 times, the dissolution and stability were enhanced, and the bad smell was masked.
