As far as I know, Nanjing Medical University is not a 2 1 1 university. Nanjing Medical University, founded in 1934, is a multidisciplinary comprehensive university focusing on medicine. Although it has a high reputation and academic level in the medical field, it has not been selected into the list of 2 1 1 engineering key universities in China.

It should be noted that the 2 1 1 project is not the only criterion to measure the academic level of a university, but other factors such as subject characteristics, faculty and scientific research achievements are equally important.
