Yanbian University is a national 2 1 1 engineering university, which can be said to be the only official university in Yanbian. Generally, it is easier to find a job in Yanbian after graduation. Yanbian University includes Yanbian University, Science and Technology College of Yanbian University, Medical College of Yanbian University, Art College of Yanbian University and Agricultural College of Yanbian University.

Personally, I think the Institute of Science and Technology of Yanbian University is the best. His original organization was China Branch of Korea University. Because China does not allow foreign universities to set up independent schools in the Mainland, it was renamed as Yanbian University of Science and Technology, which belongs to Yanbian University. The learning atmosphere there is very good, and the teachers are very responsible to the students. They don't want other universities in China, so they want your money to enroll you.

If you are Han nationality and want to go to HKUST, first spend 1 year learning Korean. There are frequent exchanges between HKUST and South Korea, and many students come every year instead of as exchange students.

Communication and architecture should be better majors in HKUST.

There are also Korean Department, Japanese Department, Russian Department and Broadcasting Department, which are considered as the trump cards of Yanbian University (these are all from our school).

Our school, college of science and technology and medical college are all very good, but choosing a major should be carefully considered according to your own scores and interests.
