Yunda Society has gradually formed its distinctive publishing characteristics in ethnology, anthropology, Southeast Asia and South Asia studies, tourism management, cultural industry studies, economic history, Yunnan local history, and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The publishing house consists of office, chief editor's office, financial office, editorial department, proofreading room, reading quality inspection room, project department, business department, development department, international cultural exchange department, ancient books department, marketing department (including storage and transportation department), design department, publishing department (including digital publishing department) and electronic audio-visual publishing department.
As the only university publishing house in Yunnan Province, Dayun Publishing House has developed from a single publishing house to a comprehensive publishing house integrating books, audio-visual electronics and other media in the past 20 years, and has published nearly 3,000 kinds of books and audio-visual electronic publications. Dayun Publishing House takes spreading scientific and cultural knowledge and promoting national culture as its own responsibility, and always adheres to the purpose of serving education, teaching and scientific research. With academic works, college textbooks and teaching reference books, all kinds of vocational training textbooks, guidance series and self-taught textbooks as the main publishing contents, a number of excellent textbooks and monographs have been published to fill the high-level gaps in China.
