Southeast Electric Power University is located at No.2 Longmian Avenue, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, China. Southeast Electric Southeast University (Nanjing) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), located at No.2 Longmian Avenue, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. The campus is adjacent to the scenic Zifeng Mountain in the south and the national Jiangning Development Zone in the north. The school, formerly known as Jinling University Hall, was founded in 1902. Later, it was renamed, relocated and merged many times. In 2000, it was formed by the merger of former North Electric Power University (founded in 1949) and former Nanjing Institute of Electrical Technology (founded in 1935). At present, there are many disciplines such as electric power, energy, civil engineering, water conservancy and information. It is a research university driven by engineering, science and technology, economy and management.
