The college has a team of teachers with professors and associate professors as the backbone, rich teaching experience and high academic attainments, and often invites foreign experts and teachers to give lectures in the college. Professor Li Jingwen, an academician of China Academy of Engineering and a famous economist, is employed to teach in the School of Management and concurrently serves as the director of the academic committee of the Technical Economics and Management Research Center. Professor Cai Li, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions, management expert of Jilin Province and doctoral supervisor, is the dean of the college. There are currently 38 faculty members 108 full-time teachers108, including 50 professors (including 3 doctoral supervisors1person), 48 associate professors and 40 lecturers. There are 59 teachers who have doctoral degrees and are studying for doctoral degrees. There are 6 experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country and enjoyed special government allowances, 5 winners of the National Outstanding Youth Fund/KLOC-0, and 5 talents supported by the Ministry of Education in the new century. At present, the college has 1433 students. Among them, there are 86 undergraduates1person, doctoral students 19 1 person (including 29 in 2006, 4 1 person in 2002, 56 in 2003 and 65 in 2004) and 363 master students (including 80 in 2002) Undertaking the national core periodical Information Science provides a solid foundation and a modern environment for the development of teaching, scientific research and colleges.
