1. Applicants should have senior titles, such as academic leaders of key scientific research projects and researchers involved in key engineering projects. People who don't have a certain level of scientific research, the state won't care too much. After all, there are too many international students, and the country needs to select them first before it can determine the candidates for international students at public expense.

2. The applicant's foreign language proficiency test needs to reach the score line stipulated by the state. Foreign students with poor foreign language ability need to study abroad for a year or two to adapt. For foreign students with high scientific research level, learning knowledge in unknown fields needs to grasp every minute.

3. The applicant shall fulfill the obligation of returning to China for service on schedule. While experiencing foreign culture and knowledge, international students should not forget the help of the country, let alone choose not to return to China because they love everything in foreign countries. International students at public expense need to ensure that the knowledge they finally acquired abroad returns to their motherland.

Generally, each school will have many places for international students. The school will review every applicant, and some professors who are "famous" in the school will also recommend their students to enter the international student quota.

5. Applicants should be regular employees or registered students of institutions of higher learning, enterprises and institutions, administrative units at all levels and scientific research units. For the time being, applications from unemployed people, self-employed, students studying abroad or staff members will not be accepted.
