The unnamed lake is located in the north-central part of Peking University campus, and it is the largest artificial lake in Peking University campus. There is a stone fish sculpture in Hunan, and there is an island in the middle of the lake, which is connected with the north bank by a bridge. There is a stone boat at the southern end of the central island of the lake. There are Bell Tower, Linhuxuan, Flower Bed and edgar snow on the lakeside, and Boya Tower on the east coast. It is one of the landmark landscapes of Peking University.

Boya Tower is located in the campus of Peking University, on the hill on the southeast side of Weiming Lake. It is one of the "One Tower Lake Maps" and the essence of Yanyuan architecture. Boya Tower is a highly unified architectural masterpiece in terms of function, artistic modeling and environmental coordination. It was originally a campus water supply tower, imitating the style of Tongzhou Lighthouse and Liao Dynasty brick tower, with dense eaves. Its unique design concept is the ingenious pen of Yanyuan architecture.
