Encounter on the unnamed lakeside of Peking University
It is a coincidence that I was lucky enough to meet him.

From June 20 12 to June 20 13, my wife and I stayed with students in the middle school attached to Yangmei, and we had to find a scenic spot for one day every Sunday. On March 3rd, 20654381day, as planned, we visited the campuses of Tsinghua and Peking University, which all China students yearned for. Take the bus from Yanjiao, change to the subway at Dawang Road, walk for more than two hours, and walk into the south gate (main entrance) of Tsinghua University.

Tsinghua and Peking University are the universities that many young students dream of. We are lucky enough to visit here as outsiders, and we can't help but feel excited.

After visiting the beautiful and profound Tsinghua campus, come out from the south gate, cross the road and walk five or six hundred meters to the east, and you will arrive at the east gate of Peking University. When you walk into the campus, you will soon see the Boya Tower standing on the unnamed lake.

Beijing is still cold in March. We all wore sweaters and down jackets and crossed the road with a slight cold wind. A few minutes later, we walked into the campus of Peking University, passed Boyata soon, and then took a few steps to the unnamed lake. While sighing the perfection of this ancient building in Boyata, we appreciate the beautiful scenery of the clear and spacious unnamed lake. With the breeze blowing, there are ripples on the water. The willows on the lake have not sprouted yet. If we come a month late, we will see willow branches and green leaves floating in the wind. When you come back after May, you will see all kinds of flowers in full bloom, and the unnamed lake will be more beautiful at that time.

The weeping willows are fluttering, the lake is sparkling, and the tower shadow covers the lake, which is also a beautiful scenery. )

When we enjoy the beautiful scenery such as weeping willows, sparkling lake water and tower shadows hanging over the lake from far and near, there are only pedestrians in twos and threes all over the lake. We were about to walk around the lake when we suddenly saw a chair for three people not far away. A thin man of about forty sat on it, with some books beside him. In front of him, there is a bench he brought. There is also a sign with a red background next to it, which reads "Freelance writer, signing books". Seeing him talking to pedestrians, his voice was not loud, and he struggled to say something. Out of curiosity, we went over.

As soon as I walked beside him, I saw a lady who was under 60 and looked like a teacher coming. She picked up a book on the stool and shouted, "Zhuang Ku," and she called him by his first name. It seems that she came: "I'm here to buy books." The gentleman named Zhuang said "thank you!" Slurred speech. The lady asked, "How much is it?" "30 yuan." The lady said nothing more, paid the money and left.

At this time, I began to look at the book seller seriously. He is no more than 1.5m in height, wearing a dark brown lapel cotton-padded jacket, blue trousers and a hat with a dark black outside and a dark gray inside. The bottom of the hat is rolled up once, the scarf with black background and white spots is wrapped around the neck twice, the beard is neatly trimmed, and a pair of nearsighted glasses are worn on the nose. He has regular facial features and a scholar's expression.

(Zhuang Ku: an elegant facial expression of a scholar)

After his strenuous self-introduction, we got a general understanding of his situation. It turns out that he is a disabled person with congenital cerebral palsy and poor self-care ability. However, he is quick-witted, loves and likes literature, and is physically and mentally disabled, which overcomes the unimaginable and insurmountable difficulties of ordinary people. He said, "I am a freelance writer. I write books, publish books and sell books myself, which not only supports myself, but also makes my family feel extremely proud and proud of me. "

My wife and I have infinite sympathy for him. We were very moved and admired by his positive attitude towards life and indomitable spirit, so we decided to buy a book to express our support for him.

Hearing that we were going to buy books, he immediately took out a book and handed it over, still struggling to introduce: "This is the latest one, 30 yuan." My wife looked at the cover. The book is called Love and Pain, and it says Zhuang Kuzhu below. There is also an English translation. After we paid the money, he laid the book flat on the stool and opened the blank page under the cover to sign for us.

I saw that his left foot obviously deviated outward by at least 30 degrees. He walks up and down, incoherent. It's hard already, and it's even harder to sign. He has to hold a pen with both hands at the same time, and his handwriting is very big. Zhuang is cool, and several Arabic numerals almost fill the blank page under the cover.

We talked to him again with sympathy, emotion and admiration, and then said goodbye to him.

On the way to visit Peking University campus, Zhuang's figure kept appearing in my mind. I think, when painters describe the beauty of the unnamed lake, if they add the shadow of Zhuang, their works will have far-reaching significance and the picture will be more perfect.

When I returned to my station at night, I began to read the pain of love and support. Zhuang's books are all about himself and his own experiences.

Zhuang was born in 1975 and has been disabled (brain contusion) since childhood. He studied with amazing perseverance and got excellent grades. After being admitted to an undergraduate university, he went to the Chinese Department of Peking University for a master's degree. With a weak and disabled body, he diligently writes books, sells books himself, supports himself and inspires others. Before we met him, he had written nearly two million words and published thirteen or fourteen books. He sold books for seven years and signed more than 20,000 copies. His books are literary, thoughtful and readable.

When I read many times about his lectures in several universities in Beijing and Shanghai, these scenes will come to my eyes: his wonderful speech on the stage, which was very laborious and sweaty, moved and admired the college students who listened quietly, and won warm applause from the audience during and at the end of the speech.

Some people say that Boya Tower is the giant pen of the gods, and the unnamed lake is the giant inkstone of Tianchi. Generations of Peking University people waved this magic pen and wrote the history of Peking University with nameless ink. Write the history of China. In his book, I seem to see a thin young man, dragging his disabled body, struggling to drift from north to south and from east to west on the vast land of the motherland. Back in the unnamed lake, he held this magic pen of Peking University in his hands, dipped it in unnamed ink, and recorded and described his life.

Zhuang lived a hard life by his persistence and hard work, but he lived confidently, elegantly and with a good level. He often said, "To live is to win!"

Although he encountered more and greater difficulties than ordinary people in his writing and life, he lived happily and optimistically, constantly piling up words. At the beginning of Love and Persistent Pain, Zhuang wrote: "My words are the truth left to the world. Some people read and some people listen, so I am not lonely. " About his optimism, he described it like this:

"With youth around, after living in Beijing for ten and a half years, I gradually became a free and proud social person, writing honestly, studying diligently, and enjoying it, being content and helping others. The tree of life is evergreen, and through the cracks in the leaves, I see a trace of youth. "

He not only tried to live by himself, but also helped those in need to live bravely. And realize their social value in this way. "In recent years, Zhuang mailed books to Wenchuan Middle School and donated 30 winter curtains to Guang 'ai Orphan School; Accumulated social donation of 9880 yuan, welfare expenditure of more than 5000 yuan; In order to help four friends with family difficulties, * * * funded 6000 yuan. "Zhuang thinks he is strong, so he should take care of and support those who need help.

His real name is Wang Wei. Someone asked him why he used the pseudonym Zhuang, and he replied, I worship Zhuangzi, and Zhuangzi is "awesome", so I called him Zhuang!

In fact, he is very "cool" himself, not pretending to be cool, but really, really cool. He is not only an example for all disabled people, but also an example for all healthy people!

The biggest gain of this trip to Tsinghua Peking University is to meet the modern freelance writer Zhuang!
