Xinglin College of Nantong University, located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, is a full-time undergraduate college (independent college) approved by the people and the Ministry of Education of China. College was founded in February 1999, formerly known as Xinglin College of Nantong Medical College.
In May 2004, the former Nantong Medical College, Nantong Institute of Technology and Nantong Teachers College merged to form the new Nantong University, and the college was renamed as Xinglin College of Nantong University. In April 2023, the official website of the school showed that the total planned area of the school was nearly 1.200 mu, with nearly 1.200 full-time undergraduates, 4 secondary teaching units and 48 majors.
1999 In February, Xinglin College of Nantong Medical College was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In May 2004, the former Nantong Medical College, Nantong Institute of Technology and Nantong Teachers College merged to form the new Nantong University, which was renamed as Xinglin College of Nantong University. It is planned to merge Xinglin College of Nantong University and Jiangsu Engineering Vocational and Technical College into provincial public undergraduate schools.
On June 6th, 20021,Nantong University officially explained the transfer of "Xinglin College of Nantong University" in its official Weibo. Students enrolled in the name of Xinglin College of Nantong University, their student status and student status files remain unchanged, and their student status information in Xuexin.com remains unchanged. Alumni relationship belongs to Nantong University.
Scientific research platform:
By 2022 10, the college had established key research bases of philosophy and social sciences-Chuci Research Center, Zhang Jian Research Center, British and American Literature Research Center and Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center. University physics laboratory, engineering optics and photoelectric information comprehensive laboratory, psychology laboratory, biotechnology laboratory, physiology laboratory and hotel management training room, with a laboratory area of 2037 square meters.
By the end of 2022 10, the college has hosted provincial and municipal scientific research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Science Fund Project, Jiangsu Province's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" key teaching materials (newly edited), and Jiangsu Province's higher education reform research project.
