Guangdong Songshan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational college organized by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, put on record by the Ministry of Education and directly managed by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education.

The college, formerly known as Guangdong Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Staff University, was founded in March 1976. At the beginning of the school, it was named "July 21" Shaoguan Iron and Steel Plant Staff University.

1June, 982, three metallurgical workers' universities in northern Guangdong merged into Shaogang workers' university, which was managed by Shaogang and moved to the former site of Guangdong University of Technology in qujiang district. In June 2000, it was transformed into an ordinary higher vocational school with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. June 20 14 was handed over by Shaogang to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education for direct management.

2. Zhaoqing Medical College.

Zhaoqing medical college for short. Zhaoqing Medical College was founded in 1958, formerly known as Zhaoqing Branch of Sun Yat-sen Medical College, and was upgraded to Zhaoqing Medical College in May 2004. It is the only independent public medical college in Guangdong Province.

1994 and 2000, the school was awarded the title of key middle school by the State Education Commission and the Ministry of Education. 1993 and 1999 jointly run schools with Guangdong Medical College and Sun Yat-sen Medical University, and established Zhaoqing Teaching Department of Guangdong Medical College and Zhaoqing Teaching Point of Sun Yat-sen Medical University respectively.

Approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004, it was upgraded to a full-time general college, becoming the only independent medical college in our province.

3. Private Hualian College

Guangdong Hualian University, also known as Guangdong Hualian University, is located in Hejing Road, Xiaoxintang, Dongpu, Tianhe District, Guangzhou. Founded in 1990, it was jointly founded by retired professors from some ordinary universities in Guangzhou, such as South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, Jinan University and Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University (formerly Guangdong University for Nationalities).

College was officially approved by Guangdong Provincial People's Government on April 26th, 1994. It is a private ordinary college with academic education and enrollment qualifications. In 2009, with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, the college obtained the qualification to recruit foreign students.

4. Foshan Vocational and Technical College

Foshan Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public general higher vocational and technical college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education in June 2000. The college was formed by the merger of the former Foshan Coalfield Staff Geology College and Foshan Electromechanical School.

College is the headquarters unit of Foshan Vocational and Technical Education Base. The college is located in Sanshui Industrial Park, Foshan City, a national industrial park, with a total campus area of 962 mu. At present, there are five departments: mechanical and electrical engineering department, electronic information department, automobile engineering department, business administration department, financial management department and ideological and political theory course teaching department.

5. Guangdong Vocational and Technical College of Communications.

Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive vocational college focusing on engineering. In 2004, it passed the talent training level evaluation of higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education with "excellent" grade, and passed the acceptance of the first batch of national backbone higher vocational colleges with "excellent" grade in 20 13.

Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College was founded on 1959, and 1999 was approved by the Ministry of Education, and was formed by the merger of Guangdong Communications School and Guangdong Shipping School.
