South China Normal University has added five undergraduate majors: integrated circuit design and integrated system, big data management and application (joint training between China and foreign countries), energy storage science and engineering, financial technology and clothing design. The newly-added majors are mainly distributed in Nanhai Campus and Shanwei Campus.
Teachers are admitted in advance in Guangdong province, and other majors are admitted in undergraduate courses. The admission batches of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government are arranged in the first batch of undergraduate courses (the provinces with merged batches are arranged in the undergraduate batch).
