Introduction of Liuzhou Institute of Technology

Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College was founded in 2002, formerly known as Lushan College of Guangxi University of Science and Technology, and was jointly organized by Liuzhou Municipal Government and Guangxi University of Science and Technology. In April, 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the college was transformed into an independent full-time undergraduate college, renamed Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College, and is a public institution fully funded by state-owned assets.

On April 9, 2020, Lushan College of Guangxi University of Science and Technology agreed to transform Lushan College of Guangxi University of Science and Technology into Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College according to the Implementation Plan on Accelerating the Transformation of Independent Colleges issued by the Ministry of Education.
