Shanxi Medical University, formerly known as Shanxi Medical College, was founded in August of 19 19. 192 1 August, changed to Shanxi Medical College. /kloc-0 changed its name to Shanxi medical college in August, 928. 1932 1 month, and was established as a private Shanxi Chuanzhi Medical College. 1940 was merged into Shanxi University in March, and it was called Medical Department of Shanxi University. 1August, 946, upgraded to the National Medical Hall of Shanxi University. 1September 1953, the school was established independently and renamed Shanxi Medical College. /kloc-0 changed its name to Shanxi medical university in September, 1996.
