It doesn't matter much, unless you have any political ambitions. I never quit the league, but I insisted on not joining the party during my college years, and it's not bad now, but I've been in a private enterprise, which really has nothing to do with me.

However, if your major makes it necessary for you to enter state-owned enterprises or state organs after graduation, then I suggest you try your best to make yourself a major, so that you can have a good development in your future work.
