Japan will relax its immigration policy in March.

Many universities plan to introduce online course system to attract foreign students.

Japanese media such as Asahi Shimbun reported that Japan will release entry restrictions in batches from March, and the number of daily arrivals will increase from the current 3,500 to 5,000. In response to this policy, Nosuke, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, said at the press conference on June 5438+08 that the relaxation of relevant policies will not set the entry priority according to visa types such as studying abroad, technical internship and business, but will be based on the flight time sequence of successful reservations of entry personnel.

According to the statistics of the Exit-Entry Administration of Japan, after 2020 1 month, there are about 407,000 foreigners who are certified as "staying" but have not entered the country, including about 1 10,000 international students and about 1 10,000 technical interns, accounting for about 70% of the total.

On the other hand, many universities in Japan are actively exploring teaching methods that are convenient for international students to carry out their studies because they are worried that it will be difficult for international students to enter the country and Japan will lose outstanding foreign talents. On the 24th, the University of Tsukuba announced the development of an online teaching system for overseas students, and more than 30 universities in Japan indicated that they would use the system. Through this network teaching system, universities can upload lecture videos and other contents to the system, and users can choose the required courses to study by visiting special websites. The system will start trial operation on March 10.
