Donghua University School of Fashion Art and Design is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in China to establish the discipline of fashion. At present, a three-level talent training system for bachelor, master and doctor has been formed. The college consists of fashion design and engineering department, fashion art design department, visual communication art design department, environmental art design department, industrial modeling design department, performance department, art design theory department, art design foundation department and experimental comprehensive room. Donghua University (formerly China Textile University), founded in 195 1, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China and a national key construction institution of "21/project". The school is located in Shanghai.
