1937 After the July 7th Incident, our campus was occupied by the Japanese army. Thanks to the efforts of teachers, students and alumni, the school resumed classes in Xiangtan, Hunan at the end of the year. 1938 In March, the Ministry of Education instructed Beijing Railway Management College of Jiaotong University to be temporarily merged into Tangshan Institute of Technology. In May, the school moved to Yangjiatan in Xiangxiang, Hunan.
