Northeast Agricultural University, located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, is one of the first batch of "2 1 1 project" national key construction universities with the characteristics of agricultural science, life science and food science and the coordinated development of agriculture, industry, science, economics and management. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and the Ministry of Agriculture. It has been selected into the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest" project, the first batch of pilot universities for the reform of the national education and training plan for outstanding talents in agriculture and forestry, an excellent university for the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education, and one of the 40 key universities in the "Subject Construction Plan for Aid to Xinjiang" by the Ministry of Education.
