After more than 80 years' development, law school has become one of the important bases of law education and research in China, with the scale of running a school expanding day by day, the efficiency of running a school improving day by day, and the teaching quality and academic status improving constantly. In 2003, Law School was approved as the first batch of doctoral degree authorization points for the first-level disciplines of law in China, with 1/master degree authorization points, 6 doctoral degree authorization points, 1 postdoctoral mobile station, 2 national key disciplines, 3 provincial key disciplines and1national "2/kloc-" There are two research institutes (International Law Institute and Environmental Law Institute) and six scientific research institutions (Comparative Constitution Research Center, Criminal Law Comparative Research Center, National Security Research Institute, Economic Law Research Institute, Tax Law Research Institute and Network Economy and Law Research Center). There are also the Center for the Protection of the Rights of the Weak in Society, the Law Library (including the United Nations Documentation Center), the Law Review magazine, the editorial department of China Annual Journal of Private International Law and Comparative Law, the Center for Continuing Education and Advanced Training, and the Criminal Investigation Laboratory of the Key Laboratory of Liberal Arts of Wuhan University. There are teachers, management cadres and professional technicians 132, including 49 professors, 30 associate professors and 48 doctoral supervisors.
