Brief introduction of Oriental College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University
Oriental College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University was applied by Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in 2002, and was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent college at the end of 2003, implementing full-time undergraduate education in ordinary universities. The college implements the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. Zhao Jie, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, is also the Party Secretary of the College, and Professor Lin Jing, the master tutor, is the dean. The college has 6 departments and 25 majors (including professional direction), covering 7 disciplines such as economy, management, literature, law, industry, agriculture and art, with more than 10,000 students 1 10,000. In 2005, the expert group of the Ministry of Education made a special evaluation of the national independent colleges, and concluded that "the school-running concept is advanced, the teaching characteristics are distinctive, the social reputation is good, and the development prospects are broad". According to the ranking of independent colleges in China in 20 15 published by China Alumni Association Network, our college ranked 83rd in China and 4th in Fujian Province.
