Harbin Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as Harbin Institute of Technology), located in nangang district, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, ranking among the national "double-class", "985 Project" and "21project".

It is the first batch of universities with the qualification of graduate school and graduate students' independent marking, and the first batch of independent examination units authorized by degrees.
