In 2007, the economics major was rated as "the first batch of characteristic specialty construction sites" and "Sichuan undergraduate characteristic specialty" in national universities, and "Political Economics" was rated as a national top-quality course. In order to meet the requirements of the innovation of economic talent training mode in the 265438+20th century, we set up the "experimental area of innovative training mode of national economic basic talent training base" with the "base" as the carrier, which was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2007 and became a national experimental area of innovative talent training mode.
