General situation of Taiping new city
Taiping New City is located in the west bank of Dianchi Lake, the back foot of Xishan Mountain and the northeast of Anning City. It is located at 102 3 1' east longitude, 24 56' 50 "north latitude, with an altitude of1850 ~ 2418m, belonging to hilly area with a total area of 82.36 square kilometers. It is 0/6 km away from Kunming city and 0/2 km away from Anning city. It is the "throat land" from Kunming to Bazhou in western Yunnan.
At present, 23 residential quarters have been built and put into use, with about 52,000 sets of commercial housing sold, which can accommodate more than 6,543,800 people, and about 6,543,802 sets are under construction, with a planned population of 450,000 in the new town.
The development orientation of Taiping New Town is "the core area of Kunan Rongcheng, a healthy and livable rural city", and the planning layout is "one axis and four pieces". One Axis Leading: The "Kunming-Taiping-Anning" composite development axis leads the new city to the south and promotes regional integration.
