Jiamusi University, located in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, where the sun first rose in China, is a key comprehensive university in Heilongjiang Province, which integrates postgraduate education, general higher education, continuing education and international education. It is a pilot university of the "Excellent Doctoral Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education, ten high-level universities under key construction in Heilongjiang Province, and one of the 100 universities supported by the National Central and Western Basic Capacity Building Project during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
Qiqihar University, founded in 1952, is the only provincial comprehensive college in western Heilongjiang Province. The school is located at the Labor Lake in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, and is a key construction university in Heilongjiang Province. The school has three campuses, covering an area of 1.26 million square meters and a building area of 750,000 square meters. By April 20th, 20 17, the school had enrolled students from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, with a total of 25,294 students, including 24 undergraduates, 987 postgraduates, 72 international students and 8,920 adults.
