Yishui Campus of Linyi University was founded in July 1948. It is one of the second-level colleges of Linyi University. Located in Yishui County, Linyi City, the campus is a public full-time undergraduate and junior college campus approved by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education. Its predecessor was Yishui Normal School in Shandong Province, which was the first normal school founded by the Red Regime in Shandong Liberated Area. It has gone through many stages, such as training class for teaching cadres, Yimeng Middle School in Shandong Province, Yimeng Rural Normal School in Shandong Province, Yishui Normal School in Shandong Province and Yishui Normal School in Shandong Province. In June, 2007, the whole school system was merged into Linyi Normal University, and in October, 201kloc-0/65438/kloc-0, the school was renamed as Yishui Campus of Linyi University with Linyi University.
