For international students, there are many accommodation options, and college students generally don't choose homestays. Although student apartments are more expensive than homestays, they have a good environment on campus.
There are usually four types of dormitories in Britain:
1, studio
Studio Room in British universities are generally called single suites or single apartments, which provide facilities such as beds, desks, wardrobes, toilets, bathrooms and kitchens. Some places will provide luxury studios (large single suites) for two people (usually husband and wife) to live together.
2. Suite
A suite is also called a suite, similar to a studio. Everyone has his own room, and each room has its own independent bathroom and bathroom. Usually 4-8 apartments are put together, which is called a cluster apartment, or apartment. Every apartment has a public door, and many people use the living room, kitchen and so on.
One-bedroom apartment
One-bedroom is different from Studio. Its kitchen and bedroom are separated by walls, so there is no need to worry about the influence of lampblack on the bedroom, but its price will be a little higher than Studio's.
4. Twin room/joint housing
Double room, that is, two people share a bedroom. If you don't mind privacy, consider this room type. Generally speaking, a double room is the cheapest of all rooms.
