Beijing Film Academy, located in Beijing, is an art school approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the State Administration of Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC).

The predecessor of Beijing Film Academy was the Performing Arts Research Institute of the Central Film Bureau founded by 1950. 195 1 was renamed the Film Academy of the Film Bureau of the Ministry of Culture of the Central People's Government, 1953 was renamed the Beijing Film Academy, and 1956 was restructured into the Beijing Film Academy.

2. Campus construction of Beijing Film Academy.

Beijing Film Academy has Jimenqiao Campus and Huairou Campus. Jimenqiao Campus covers an area of 105 mu and is located at No.4 Xitucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing. Huairou Campus is located in the southeast of plot 08 of Huairou New Town, Song Yang Town, Huairou District, east to Longyun Road (Planning Road), south to Xiangrui Road, west to Anping East Road and north to Huaigeng Road, with a total area of about 667 mu and a planned total construction area of 400,000 square meters.

The campus is constructed in two phases. The construction area of the first phase is about 6.5438+0.8 million square meters, and the construction contents include teaching buildings, libraries, theaters, cinemas, studios, student and staff apartments, etc. The construction area of the second phase project is about 220,000 square meters, and the construction contents mainly include teaching buildings, stadiums, gymnasiums, student apartments and international film and television exchange centers.
