Shaanxi art students can apply to xi Academy of Fine Arts, Shaanxi Normal University, xi Jiaotong University, Chang 'an University, Northwest A&F University, Xi Engineering University and other universities.

Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts, referred to as Messi and Xi Academy of Fine Arts for short, is one of the three major professional fine arts colleges with doctoral degree authorization points in China, ranking third among the eight major fine arts colleges in China. It is the only higher professional art school in northwest China and a provincial-level high-level university in Shaanxi Province.

School predecessor

The school, formerly known as the Second Branch of Northwest People's Art College, was moved from Linfen, Shanxi Province to xingguo temple, xi City in July 1949, and was renamed the Art College of Northwest Military and Political University. After that, it went through the stages of Northwest Art College and Northwest Academy of Fine Arts.

1960 was officially named Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts in May, and 1994 moved to Yanta District as a whole. In 2007, it was rated as "excellent" in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education. 20 1 1 has been listed in the ranks of high-level university construction in Shaanxi province.
