This is Lu Wei's three job hunting experiences in the School of Economics and Business of a southwest university:

The first time: according to the standard of "the company can't be too small and the salary can't be too small", she screened out the most ideal one among the units she interviewed-an international trade development company in Pudong. With her excellent performance in school, she got an opportunity: written test first, then English interview, but she failed to enter the company in the end. The reason is that they want the most suitable candidates, not the best students.

The second time: she went to a foreign trade textile trading company for an interview. The company is small in scale and in its infancy. Her interview was very successful. The recruiter was very satisfied with her English level and business knowledge and decided to let her go to work the next day. The salary offered by the company is 1800 yuan plus business commission. But she finally gave up for one reason: "The company is too small".

The third time: the company she tried is a well-known insurance company. The students who are hired can rotate their posts in four positions: administration, business, training and recruitment, and then set posts. Lu Wei has passed two rounds of interviews and has a good chance of being hired, but her parents don't approve of her going to the insurance company. They think that insurance has no future. Influenced by his parents, Lu Wei finally gave up this unit.

On the day when the list was published, a young man named Shui Yuan saw that there was no name on the list, and he was very sad. When he got home, he hanged himself. Fortunately, relatives found out in time that Shui Yuan was not dead. Just when Shui Yuan was sad, good news came from the company; Shui Yuan's grades were among the best, but it was a computer error that led to Shui Yuan's failure.

The same thing happened in the United States, Germany and China, but the results were quite different.

When my Shui Yuan family was about to go to heaven that day, news came from the company: Shui Yuan was removed from the company. There is a simple reason. The boss of the company thinks: "such a small setback can't stand it, and such a person can't do great things in the company."

When the Tom family in America was overjoyed, well-known lawyers from all States in the United States came to Tom's house one after another. They strongly encouraged Tom to sue the company in court, let the company pay a huge amount of "mental damage compensation", and volunteered to be Tom's defense lawyer.

When the Shawn family in Germany was going to heaven, Shawn's parents resolutely opposed their son's entry into the company. Their reason is beyond doubt: the work style of this company is too poor, and entering this company is not good for their son's growth.

When Xiaodong in China visited heaven, Xiaodong's parents bought pennants and certificates from the store. When I came to the company, I knelt down when I saw the boss from a distance. They said with tears in their eyes, "Thanks to your saving my son, our family will remember your great kindness from generation to generation."

As can be seen from the above example, Xiaodong's experience is the saddest, but it is also the fact that China exists. Apart from different social and cultural backgrounds, the reason why China people can tolerate the company's mistakes and express their gratitude for being finally accepted depends largely on their personal concepts and psychological qualities. If college students in China can face the test results calmly, change from passive acceptance to active resistance, and from passive acceptance to active resistance, then our career will be different.

Employment and entrepreneurial opportunities

Faced with the difficulty of college students' employment, Guangzhou has carried out activities to provide college students with employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. On March 20th, 40 shops in the first phase of Guangzhou University Students' Entrepreneurship Base were auctioned in 600 yuan at the highest price, and the other three shops were also auctioned in 450 yuan. Li, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, said that the "entrepreneurial base" is a good thing and will become part of the entrepreneurial plan of Guangzhou college students. James Li, director of the Office of the Preparatory Committee of the College Students' Entrepreneurship Practice Base, said that as the first practice place in China to support college students' self-employment, the whole "entrepreneurship base" will provide more than 370 shops for college graduates to start their own businesses, and other shops will be gradually launched in the near future, except for 40 shops launched in the first phase.

As early as last March, a survey conducted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong showed that the entrepreneurial rate of young people aged 8 to 24 in Hong Kong/kloc-0 exceeded 30%, which was more than 10 times higher than the overall entrepreneurial rate in Hong Kong. They are mostly engaged in personal services or creative industries, and become the group with the highest personal income.

It can be seen that college students' self-employment has become a trend. With the development of "entrepreneurship base" activities for college students in Guangzhou and other places, there will be more and more activities to provide employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for college students, and "providing employment opportunities for college students" may also be listed as an important employment policy.

To sum up, to deal with the employment problem of college students, besides implementing the national employment and re-employment policy and striving to improve economic growth, it is also very necessary for college students to pay attention to the employment problem themselves.
