How to treat the dormitory problem of Hunan University?
Is it reasonable to rob the graduate dormitory?

It's not the only one.

Hunan University is not the first university in China that cannot meet all students' accommodation needs because of insufficient beds. It can be seen from the "Guidance Notes for Enrollment of Postgraduate Freshmen" issued by official website of Hunan University in recent six years that the system of voluntary application for accommodation is implemented, and housing choices are provided for freshmen according to the existing dormitory resources.

In addition, a reporter found that Peking University, Nanjing University and other universities have similar situations.

From June, 2065438 to June, 2009, extended doctoral students of Nanjing University were accommodated by the school, and the accommodation standard was adjusted from two to four. A delay rate of more than 50% means that more than 1000 students are affected. Teachers, students and staff pointed out that the shortage of dormitory beds has long been exposed, and this shortage is closely related to the expanding enrollment scale.

At present, some colleges and universities have clearly stopped providing accommodation for part-time graduate students. Peking University 20021Admissions Guide shows that the school implements an accommodation application system and encourages qualified students to apply for non-accommodation. Among them, professional degree graduates and part-time graduates do not arrange accommodation. Fudan University 202 1 Admissions Guide states, "Postgraduates will not be arranged to live on campus. In principle, students need to arrange their own accommodation. The school cooperates with relevant departments to expand off-campus accommodation resources and assist full-time students to solve their accommodation needs in a socialized way. " In addition, Beijing Normal University, Xiamen University, Shenzhen University and other universities have also issued relevant regulations.

The matching caused by enrollment expansion can't keep up. As for rationality, how can there be so much fairness in the world?

I can only say that if you have a clear announcement in the enrollment brochure, there is nothing inappropriate, but if you don't have any details in the enrollment brochure, this phenomenon will appear later, which I think is very inappropriate.
