Gakuen University is a private university in Japan, located in Toyota District, Tokyo. Founded in 1859, the school is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Japan and one of the five famous private institutions in Japan. Gakuen University enjoys a high reputation in Japan and is considered as a high-level university. Although the university systems in China and Japan are different, on the whole, a college of study can be compared with a university in China.
