Shandong Higher Agricultural School:
In the thirty-second year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty, Shandong Higher Agricultural School was established, with its site in Jinan. Most students are scholars, and they can study abroad directly after graduation.

Origin of Shandong University:
1983 In September, the former Shandong Agricultural College was renamed Shandong Agricultural University, with former president Chen Ruitai as president and Wang as party secretary.
In July, 1999, Shandong Agricultural University and Shandong Institute of Water Conservancy merged to form a new Shandong Agricultural University.
20 12 in may, the state forestry administration signed an agreement with the people's government of Shandong province to establish Shandong agricultural university.
