Feng Yitong, a native of Baoying, Jiangsu Province, graduated from Yangzhou Middle School. 1959. 1963, Feng Yitong, aged 18, was admitted to the Chinese Department of Nanjing Normal University (predecessor of Nanjing Normal University). After graduation, he worked in Nanjing No.9 Middle School, Qixia Normal School, Nanjing Federation of Literary and Art Circles and other places, and was closely connected with Nanjing literature all his life. After the Nanjing Federation of Literary and Art Circles founded the "Nanjing Literature Creation Workshop", Feng Yitong served as the head of the poetry class in the "Nanjing Literature Workshop" and trained many talents for Nanjing.
Some students later became famous writers and editors, while others grew up to be editors-in-chief of newspapers. On April 9, 2023, Nanjing writer Feng Yitong died at the age of 82. He wrote the Declaration of Peace, Acacia Pod, Poems on Red Leaves, Songs of Zhu Ziqing and other works before his death.
