Peking University is different from Peking University.

Peking University is now a university in Beijing.

Beiping University has disappeared since War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. National Peking University is a university consortium founded by Nanjing Ministry of Education during the Republic of China. It consists of five colleges under the name of a school, namely, medical college, agricultural college, engineering college, law and business college and women's college of arts and sciences. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, National Beiping University, National Beiping Normal University, National Beiyang University and Beiping Research Institute moved to Xi 'an to form National Northwest United University. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the National Peking University failed to resume running schools. In fact, Northwest University has become the only university that inherits its main body.
