Freshmen must live in TEDA for one year. If you live in TEDA for a year, I guess you won't like life in Hexi very much when you are a sophomore. Accommodation is not as good as TEDA. If you are a boy, you will get an apartment 1, 2, 3. Apartment 2 is the oldest apartment. There is no separate bathroom, no balcony, and the dormitory is dark. There are six beds in the dormitory, but usually only five people are allocated to live. An apartment has a private bathroom, a balcony and six rooms. Part of the dormitory is a four-person room, with a bed above and a table below. All three apartments are standard quadruple rooms, with beds above and tables below. It's time to see your luck. There is a faucet in the bathroom. You can buy a shower head for bathing in summer. We only bought a plastic pipe in our dormitory, which is not bad. There is a network cable in the room, which can be connected to the school or outside. The school has 60/ month/person, 50/ month (three or two people) and 40/ month (more than four people). Hexi has convenient transportation, because in the urban area, buses and subways are very close. The canteen is not good, the most worrying thing every day is eating, and the staff in the canteen are not very clean (excluding the international exchange center). The campus environment in Hexi is good, at least like a university. TEDA is as neat as a big high school because it has just been built for a few years.
