Dormitory problems in Curtin University
As far as I know, Curtin University of Technology has no dormitory, and there are generally only two ways for international students to stay. The first is to rent a house by yourself, and the second is to live in a homestay. When I was there, I stayed with a host family. Many people say that I am extravagant and have no choice. The housework I don't like most is cooking, so I live a simple life. The advantages and disadvantages of these two methods are as follows:

Rent a house: it's cheap, you can cook by yourself, and you can handle your daily chores by yourself. There are no requirements. "Super free life" has disadvantages. Most people who live together come from China. I don't know how you practice English, but you can practice local dialects well, and you can also play games well! The approximate price is weekly 100.

B&B: I usually live in a local family, eat, drink, sleep and sleep all the time. You are responsible for cleaning every week, providing three meals a day, surfing the internet, etc. In addition to paying the rent, you can only buy some snacks yourself and spend a little money, which is actually very economical. The approximate price is 224 per week.

Need attention! I haven't lived in a rented house, so it's not easy to evaluate. B&B should try not to find local older people as landlords (especially women) and not to live in Indian families. If you can meet people from Singapore and Malaysia, you will make money. Their diet is similar to that of our country, and they will be very comfortable to eat and live in!

No matter which one you want to choose, the school there has a student service to help you contact, so don't worry about the problem you can't find in a strange place!

That's all I remember. The above prices are in Australian dollars, which is my original price. I'm not sure how much it is now. It shouldn't change much.
