The school has two campuses, Fuchun and Wen Bin, covering an area of 1000 mu, with a total construction area of over 470,000 square meters. It has 18 colleges (departments), 4 affiliated hospitals, 3 first-class doctoral degree authorization points, 10 first-class master degree authorization points, 9 professional degree categories, 3 postdoctoral research stations, 32 undergraduate majors, 2 national clinical research bases of traditional Chinese medicine and national traditional Chinese medicine.
Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in June 1953. 1956 The school moved to Hangzhou Siyi Pavilion at the beginning, 1956 The school moved to the former site of Zhejiang University on Chun Qing Road in Hangzhou in the second half of the year, 1959 Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in June. The school was merged into Zhejiang Medical University twice, and resumed as Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1974 in September. In March 2000, the school moved to Binjiang Higher Education Park as a whole, and was renamed Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in February 2006.
