Qiu Zhenhai, 1962 was born in Shanghai, 1984 graduated from the German Department of Foreign Languages Department of East China Normal University, and was admitted to the German Department of Tongji University in the autumn of the same year with a master's degree of 1987. 1990-1997 studied in Germany and obtained a doctorate from the University of Tubingen. After returning to China, he went to work in Hong Kong.
