Jiangxi Agricultural Engineering Vocational College is located in Zhangshu City, the drug capital of China. It is a full-time public ordinary higher vocational college integrating agriculture and forestry, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, finance and economics, electromechanical, information and preschool education. It is under the guidance of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education. College was founded in 1940, formerly known as Jiangxi Zhangshu Agricultural School. 1980 was identified as a key middle school in Jiangxi province, the first batch of national key middle schools in 2000, and upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004. 20 14 was approved by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and became a directional training school for agricultural technicians in Jiangxi Province (directional enrollment, directional training and directional distribution). 20 16 With the approval of the Provincial Department of Education, we jointly trained undergraduate talents in applied technology with Jinggangshan University. ?
The college has seven colleges and two departments, namely, College of Bioengineering, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, College of Animal Science, College of Economics and Management, College of Information Engineering, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Entrepreneurship, Basic Department and Political Department, and there is 1 Automobile Driving Training School. There are 30 higher vocational majors, which recruit students for the whole country 12 provinces and cities. Among them, landscape engineering technology and Chinese herbal medicine cultivation technology are the characteristic majors of provincial universities, five majors such as animal husbandry and veterinary medicine are the key construction majors of the college, and pet medical care, agricultural biotechnology and e-commerce are the pilot majors of the college. At present, three provincial-level excellent courses, namely plant tissue culture, medicinal plant cultivation technology, plant and plant physiology, three provincial-level excellent courses, medicinal plant cultivation technology, soil fertilizer and marketing, and 28 college-level excellent courses have been completed.
The college attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' professional skills and the improvement of their stylistic quality. It has established more than 20 professional technical and cultural societies and associations for students, organized students to participate in national, provincial and departmental vocational skills competitions, literature and sports competitions and achieved good results, effectively cultivated students' interest in learning and promoted their healthy growth and success.
