Hello. I am Lu Sheng from Taiwan Province Province. I'd like to ask about the architecture department of Culture University. thank you
The old six schools of Taiwanese architecture include Chengda, Donghai, Zhongyuan, Tamkang, Feng Jia and culture.

In the early days, there was frequent communication and friendship between the architecture departments of the Sixth Hospital, and teachers and students were familiar with each other, similar to the old Eighth Hospital in Chinese mainland.

Therefore, No.6 Middle School is the school that trains the most architectural talents, and now it is the backbone of the construction industry in Taiwan Province Province.

During the period of 1997- 1998, the content of education reform was continuously promoted, which opened up conditions for the establishment and upgrading of departments.

Therefore, architecture, interior design, space design and other departments have mushroomed, dazzling.

But generally speaking, northern schools are more likely to get good teachers, both old and new (around Taipei, there are many employees, and considering transportation, there are more teachers who are willing to take part-time jobs).

Therefore, in the department of architecture in Taipei, Tamkang (fresh water), culture (Yangming Mountain) and practice (new school) are considered.

However, we should pay more attention to two things: license and graduate school.

Two four-year schools (Chengda and Wenda) can take an examination of architects in Taiwan Province Province, but it may not be recognized by foreign countries.

Finally, for practical reasons, Chengdu University only carried out the reform of four-year system and five-year system in 2009.

The first five-year students (who haven't graduated yet) will not be enrolled until August 20 13 at the latest.

The same is true for graduate students.

Because the five-year school has obtained the first professional degree abroad.

If you continue the American academic system, you can at least go directly to graduate school 1 year and get a master's degree in architecture.

If you want to transfer to another department, you can get a professional degree in two years.

The four-year system has encountered many situations. Even if a better American school is willing to accept it, it will basically take two years (or strive for it).

Therefore, the architectural style of study in Wenda University is relatively slow as a whole (different from the cutting-edge style of pure design of new schools such as practice).

In order to make up for the inconvenient transportation, the department employs a large number of well-known officials as teachers and recruits more students.

This is also in line with the connotation of the earliest master's and doctoral research institution "Engineering Group of Industrial Planning Institute".

Renaming it "Department of Architecture and Urban Design" is also the result of following the trend.

Because Wenda didn't want to change to a five-year system, the school ranking plummeted.

Although it is superior to most polytechnic universities and new schools, it is already in the middle and late stage in comprehensive universities.

I personally estimate that after the first five-year graduation (20 18), I will return to my old sixth school.
