Bordeaux University Town
Bordeaux is the largest university town in Europe, with four universities dedicated to natural science (University of Bordeaux I), medical biology (University of Bordeaux II), literature (University of Bordeaux III), politics and law (University of Bordeaux IV). The second University of Bordeaux is located in the city center, which is the largest hospital area in southwest France, while the other three universities moved to Paysac, a small town next to Bordeaux, in the1960s. As Bordeaux is the most famous wine producing area in the world, some key universities in Bordeaux have set up wine trade majors.
