Is it troublesome to change majors if you want to rush to Sichuan University?
There is no difference between changing majors and changing institutions.

There are two ways for Sichuan University to change majors:

1.

When you enter Sichuan University, you are admitted to Wu Yuzhang College, so that you can transfer to any major (except all medical classes in West China) before the start of freshman year.

2.

Freshman keeps good grades (gpa3.2 is generally required), and there is a unified opportunity to change majors at the end of freshman year. At this time, you can apply for your own major (you can transfer between colleges or your own college), but you still have to remove all the majors in West China.

If you want to transfer to clinical practice in West China, the only chance is your five majors of mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer and polymer materials. At the end of your sophomore year, the top two of these five majors can apply to transfer to the eight-year West China Clinical Program.

The strong majors of Sichuan University include but are not limited to: West China Stomatology, Polymer (these two majors are basically blown by teachers), Mathematics, Biology and Textile. But the majors with better employment are actually similar to computer, electricity and business. These majors are not dominant subjects, but the employment situation after graduation is definitely more impressive than those I mentioned earlier (both income and employment opportunities).
