Hubei University

Hubei University is a provincial key comprehensive university jointly established by Hubei Provincial People's Government and Ministry of Education. It is also a "first-class university in China" in Hubei province and a national "basic capacity building project for universities in central and western regions". The earliest history of running a school can be traced back to Hubei Institute of Education, which was founded in 193 1. Since then, it has gone through National Hubei Teachers College, Hubei Education College, Hubei Teachers College, Hubei Teachers College, Wuhan Teachers College and Wuhan Teachers College. In August, 1984 was renamed as Hubei University.

The school is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. There are Wuchang main campus, Hankou campus and Yangluo campus.
