How to calculate the college grade point?
1. How was your college performance?

GPA(grade point average (GPA for short) is a system for grading students' grades adopted by higher education institutions in most countries and regions. At the same time, a small number of middle and high schools have begun to use grade points as a scoring system to judge students' grades.

2. Calculation method of GPA

Generally, the calculation method of GPA is to convert the scores obtained by each subject into a GPA, which is weighted according to the proportion of credits obtained by each subject. There are some differences between countries, regions and schools. The grade point system is one of the important supporting measures to implement the credit system. GPA is calculated cumulatively, which is converted by adding up the scores of all semesters. The perfect score of GPA is generally 5, but now many schools at home and abroad will have a perfect score of 4 because of different calculation methods.

The grade point score is as follows:

Grade point = score/10- 5, credit grade point = credit * grade point = credit * (score/10-5) (if the score is above 90, it will be calculated as 90).

3. The role of grade points

Grade point is a very important condition in most schools' postgraduate walk-in exams. Generally speaking, schools need students with a GPA of 2.8 or above to be eligible for walks. At the same time, when applying for studying abroad, GPA is also a very important auditing standard for foreign schools.
